3 Easy Steps
Step 1 – Pre-delivery Planning
- Confirm fuel specifications (HFO, VLSFO, MGO).
- Verify vessel ETA, quantity, and compatibility.
- Conduct safety & risk assessment (HSE compliance).
- Agree commercial terms (e.g. Platts index / contract pricing).
Step 2 – Fuel Transfer
- Secure hose connections and conduct pre-transfer checklist.
- Commence pumping under controlled supervision.
- Continuous monitoring of flow rate, pressure, and quantity.
- Real-time communication between barge / tanker and vessel.
Step 3 – Post Delivery and Verification
- Final quantity measurement and reconciliation.
- Issue and sign Bunker Delivery Note (BDN).
- Sampling for quality verification (ISO standards).
- Close-out documentation and invoicing.
